Islamic World Ngos Council Meeting Was Held In Germany

The 24th Islamic World NGOs Council Meeting (IDSB), which is considered as an independent umbrella for organizations in Düsseldorf, Germany was participated by Senior Adviser of President of the Republic; Mr. Adnan Taniverdi, President of the Red Crescent Organization Mr. Kerem Kinik, and Chairman of the Turkish Youth foundation (TÜGVA) Mr. İsmail Emanet as well as representatives of civil society organizations from various countries, administrators and businessmen.

The 24th Islamic World NGOs Council Meeting (IDSB), which is considered as an independent umbrella for organizations was held in Düsseldorf, Germany.

The International Humanitarian Relief Organization (WAFA) hosted the meeting that was held at a hotel attended by Senior Adviser of President of the Republic; Mr. Adnan Taniverdi, President of the Red Crescent Organization Mr. Kerem Kinik, and Chairman of the Turkish Youth foundation (TÜGVA) Mr. İsmail Emanet as well as representatives of civil society organizations from various countries.

The General Director of WEFA, Mr. Mosaab Aydin, said in his evaluation made after the meeting that representatives of non-governmental organizations in the Islamic world had exchanged information, experiences and visions with member organizations.

Mr. Aydin said also" the meeting was very productive and aims to contribute jointly to solve problems related to the Islamic world; at the same time to make sustainable efforts for a better world, and to provide institutional gains as well as developing the common reactions; in cooperation with the Council members".

WE WERE FILLED WITH ENTHUSIASM EXTREMELY

Mr. Aydın has referred to very important issues discussed such as International Family Institute, Humanitarian Aid Platform, African Congress, International Civil Society Academy, and the integration of foreigners in Europe and the refugee problems there; where he said "At our meeting, all member organizations took the opportunity to transfer their activities in the field of social and technical work.

In this sense, "we were very excited to concur together around strong international structure and to work on developing joint projects." he said.

The IDSB, contained of 340 members, is reported to have carried out works in 65 countries.
