A letter of appreciation to ASSAM at the 3rd International NGOs Exhibition held in Istanbul on 17-18 November 2018.

Dear Mr. President,
We successfully completed our third International NGOs Exhibition in cooperation with the Union of NGOs in the Islamic World (İDSB) and Foundation of Volunteer Organizations of Turkey (TGTV) with the support of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB).
176 organizations from 40 different countries participated in exhibition, held at the Yeni Kabi Center for Exhibitions and Arts on 17-18 November 2018, with their activities carried out to present days and with their current & future projects with other NGOs participating in the exhibition and its visitors.
Our NGOs organizations participating in this event from all over the world, from Asia-Pacific to South Asian countries, from Middle East to Gulf countries, from Africa and Sub-Saharan to Europe and America, participated in this exhibition and explained their activities and projects throughout the event.
The aim of the exhibition is to communicate among our civil organizations abroad and those of similar importance at domestic; such as the Ministry of Family and Social Policies, Youth and Sports Ministry, the Presidency For Turks Abroad And Related Communities YTB, Turkish Maarif Foundation, the Human Rights and Equality Institution of Turkey, AFAD, Red Cross, and the Turkey Diyanet foundation, besides the sustainable cooperation of the project, The international exhibition of civil society organizations has attracted great attention this year similar to last year and has received more than ten thousand local and foreign participation.
The technical topics were discussed in the workshops held in the exhibition; such as problems and proposals of solutions, humanitarian aid, women, family, youth and development of the capacity of civil society organizations in different regions from our geography, especially in Yemen.
In addition, the brochure of exhibition, which includes short activities and contact information of our participating organizations in the exhibition, was shared with visitors. We believe that the exhibition contributes greatly to the promotion of Istanbul as the cultural capital of our country. The third international exhibition of civil society organizations received serious attention and appreciation especially from international participants.
On this occasion, I would like to thank you for this strategic and important support for the organization of the NGOs Exhibition which we plan to achieve every two years & which aims for creating synergy, interaction and mutual understanding among participants from now on; in order to ensure equality and unity in the Islamic world.
