GEOPOLITICAL POWER OF THE ISLAMIC WORLD<\/span><\/h2>\n

Among the 193 United Nations member states, 60 (31% of its members) are Muslim states.<\/span><\/p>\n

1.6 billion people out of the entire world population of 7.145 billion (22.5% of world population) are citizens of Muslim States. The land covered by 60 Islamic States equals to 19 million kilometer squares of the Earth\u2019s surface (12,8% of the world territory), which is 150 million kilometer squares in total.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Islamic soil-ignoring the borders between the countries- is positioned at the heart of Asian, European, and African continents, known as the World archipelago. It holds the control of Gibraltar, Bab-el-Mendeb, Gallipoli and Istanbul straits as well as the Suez Canal, the gateways to the biggest inland sea Mediterranean, Red Sea, and Black Sea. It has shores on the Atlantic, Indian Ocean, Mediterranean, Black Sea, and Caspian Sea. It neighbors Asian, European and African continents as well as the European Union, Russia, India, and China \u2013 the super powers of the world. Furthermore, it shares sea borders with the United States of America. It holds the opportunity to become a matchless hub of land, air and sea transportation routes. It owns 55.5% of oil reserves and 45.6% of oil production as well as 64.1% of natural gas reserves and 33%1 of natural gas production.<\/span><\/p>\n

With its geopolitical position, common civilization values and historical background, the Islamic soil possesses a potential to become the super power of the world in the future.<\/span><\/p>\n

ISLAMIC WORLD IS UNDERGOING AN ASYMMETRIC THIRD WORLD WAR<\/span><\/h2>\n

The countries that make up the Islamic world, despite their true potential, are face to face with incomparable interventions. The Islamic states engage with the United Nations more than any country, and yet they are all troubled by terror and anarchy. Their resources are governed by foreign powers. Human rights and freedoms are frequently violated. Income distribution is askew in these countries. They are troubled by political, social, and financial instabilities. They expect and are in true need of assistance and support from external powers to solve their internal problems.<\/span><\/p>\n

The 21st century started with the execution of an \u201cAsymmetric War<\/strong>\u201d, which included the blatant use of insidious, dirty, traitorous, and immoral ways whereby the executers could easily conceal themselves. Today, the Imperialist Global Powers use the ethnic and sectarian differences that exist within Islamic states, and organize them around provocation and through the traitors within their ranks. They train, equip and arm these groups, and provoke them to fight each other. They implant a dirty and insidious ASYMMETRIC THIRD WORLD WAR<\/strong> in the lands of Islam.<\/span><\/p>\n

The winners of World War II and permanent members of the United Nations Security Council; USA, Britain, France, Russia, and China have shaped the UN to secure their own national interests and their own governance over the world. Therefore, it is beyond negligence to expect the UN to solve the problems in the Islamic world in a fair and just way for the Muslim nations.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

It is evident that the Geneva Talks for Syrian peace in fact aim to coerce the parties to accept the new map of Syria, drawn by international actors.<\/span><\/p>\n

This cruel anarchy beyond comprehension has been dominating Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Egypt, Libya, Somali, and Yemen for years. Islamic world cannot heal these wounds; furthermore, for solution, it depends on the very countries that expressly or secretly contribute to the aggravation of the wound.<\/span><\/p>\n

THE KEY FOR PEACE IN THE ISLAMIC WORLD IS TO UNITE<\/span><\/h2>\n

60 Islamic States can eliminate the current chaos, obtain the power that they deserve, and install global peace only if they unite under a single will.<\/span><\/p>\n

There is a pressing need to conduct a scientific study of the history of Islam, the fair governance models of our age, shared practices of different civilizations, judicial systems as well as international principles and practices that secure basic human rights and\u00a0freedoms in order to define the institutions necessary to unite the Islamic states under a single will, and to write the legislation for the establishment and harmonious working of these institutions.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

SYRIAN ARMY INITIATIVES SHOULD BE INSTITUTIONALISED AGAINST SYRIAN CRISIS<\/span><\/h2>\n

In a conference held in Saudi Arabian capital Riyadh in December 2015, 37 Islamic states decided to engage in \u201cStrategic Cooperation against Common Threats<\/strong>.\u201d In the meetings that followed, the alliance tried to set a cooperation framework. In early March 2016, a modern military force of 200,000 soldiers, composed of military troops of 22\u00a0countries, practiced a three-week drill in the Hafar El-Batin<\/strong> region of Saudi Arabia.<\/span><\/p>\n

This initiative, which has excited Islamic world and scared the imperialist global powers, should be institutionalized to secure its continuity. This should be the first step for an Islamic unity.<\/span><\/p>\n

CONFEDERATION OF ISLAMIC STATES FOR CRISIS MANAGEMENT<\/span><\/h2>\n

Islamic States should unite their individual interests for those Muslim nations troubled by political, social, economic and military crises, and should not wait for the USA, UN or non-Muslim international institutions to take initiatives in order to investigate the opportunities for joint action.<\/span><\/p>\n

In order to bring back stability to the Islamic states, which are troubled by crises of both internal and external security — as well as economic, social and political crises — the Islamic world urgently needs a new organization free from the United Nations and other power groups.<\/span><\/p>\n

There is a need for a new power to be formed by the countries which qualify as Muslim States, and which agrees to obey by the rules and to contribute accordingly. Unlike the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, this new power should have operational strength and authority.<\/span><\/p>\n

Its name could be \u201cConfederation of Islamic States for Crisis Management<\/strong>\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

It should consist of voluntary states that meet the criteria.<\/span><\/p>\n

States should join and become part of this organization under an agreement.<\/span><\/p>\n

It should have a parliament, which is composed of representatives of member states, which works fulltime and ensures the decisions that address present objectives are taken and duly implemented. The parliament should serve for realizing the foundational objectives in line with the common will of member states. Where necessary, the parties in the crisis zones, should be able to get representation at the parliament upon application.<\/span><\/p>\n

A crisis center, which is bound to and which responds to the parliament, should be formed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Within the crisis center, there should be independent operation centers to manage military, political, judicial, economical and social operations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Member states should provide the necessary financial support.<\/span><\/p>\n

There should also be a military force that operates under the control of the crisis center. This military force should be formed with the contributions of member\u00a0states.<\/span><\/p>\n

Action center should be defined by the parliament, taking into account the crisis zones and suggestions by member states, and should be open to change when necessary.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"councilA Proposition for The Confederation of Islamic States for Crisis Management<\/span><\/p>\n

The Councils of Presidents, Defense Ministers, Foreign Affairs Ministers, and Finance Ministers<\/strong> of member states should meet at regular intervals to direct the actions and respond to the needs of the Confederation Parliament and Rapid Reaction Force Command and Control Center.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Confederation\u2019s response to the parties of crisis should be constructive, peace-oriented, righteous, fully cognizant of basic human rights and freedoms, unifying, protective of social texture, assistive, yet coercive where necessary.<\/span><\/p>\n

If the Islamic World had such a Confederation, a just administration could have been installed in Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, Yemen and Syria before the revolutions took place, before chaos took over, or before Iraq was occupied by US forces.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is not too late.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Riyadh conferences and the decisions taken to solve the Syrian Conflict should have continuity.<\/span><\/p>\n

Not only in Islamic world, but also peace in the world is possible through the establishment of a \u201cConfederation of Islamic States\u201d united under a single will.<\/span><\/p>\n

ENVISIONING ISLAMIC UNION<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)<\/strong> should become more active.<\/span><\/p>\n

Its affiliated institutions should include \u201cConference of Defense Ministers of Muslim States<\/strong>\u201d. Its committees should include \u201cThe Permanent Committee for Defense Alliance<\/strong>\u201d and \u201cThe Permanent Committee for Defense Industry Alliance<\/strong>\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

First of all;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

A \u201cConfederation of Islamic States<\/strong>\u201d should be formed with a permanent \u201cIslamic States Parliament<\/strong>\u201d, which represents the common will of 60 Islamic States and whose authority, means, power, and structure should be defined by laws and regulations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Secondly;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

While the Confederation of Islamic States works on the procedures and principles related to the legislation, security (internal and external) and common foreign policy, which are the states\u2019 main areas of duty, \u201cRegional Islamic States Parliaments<\/strong>\u201d should be formed, where the common will of ethnically and geographically close Islamic states is represented.<\/span><\/p>\n

Islamic States can form the following bodies with respect to their geopolitical and racial connections;<\/span><\/p>\n

\"konfederasyon\"<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Union of Middle Eastern Arabic Muslim Countries;<\/strong> (Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Palestine, Iraq, Qatar, Kuwait, Lebanon, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Jordan, Yemen),<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Union of Central Asian Muslim Turkic Countries;<\/strong> (Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan),<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Union of Near Eastern Muslim Countries;<\/strong> (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Iran, Pakistan),<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Union of Far Eastern Muslim Countries;<\/strong> (Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia),<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Union of North African Muslim Countries;<\/strong> (Algeria, Morocco, Libya, Egypt, Tunisia),<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Union of African Muslim Countries of Ocean Basin;<\/strong> (Western Sahara, Benin, Burkina Faso, Chad, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Guyana, Cameroon, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Surinam),<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Union of African Muslim Countries of Red Sea Basin;<\/strong> (Djibouti, Eritrea, Comor Islands, Mozambique, Somali, Sudan),<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. Union of European Muslim Countries;<\/strong> (Bosnia, Macedonia, Kosovar)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    These countries should sign nonaggression pacts, and then draw Defense Alliance Pacts.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Member states of regional unions should come together in a federative structure, and regional unions should come together in a confederative structure, aiming at an Islamic Union. All procedures and actions should be designed to attain this objective.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Subsequently<\/strong>;<\/span><\/p>\n

    The central administration of \u201cRegional Islamic Confederations\u201d should be empowered and turned into federations, whereby each one of them should be tied to the \u201cIslamic States Union\u201d as a Confederate Union.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Finally<\/strong>;<\/span><\/p>\n

    The common central will should be represented by the \u201cParliament of the Confederation of Islamic States<\/strong>\u201d, whereas the common will of regional alliances should be represented by the \u201cParliaments of the Regional\u00a0Federations of Islamic States<\/strong>\u201d;<\/span><\/p>\n

    \u201cExecutive bodies<\/strong>\u201d bound to the parliaments should be formed;<\/span><\/p>\n

    \u201cJustice Boards<\/strong>\u201d and \u201cRapid Reaction Forces<\/strong>\u201d to implement the decisions taken by these Boards should be formed under the control of central and regional executive bodies\u2019;<\/span><\/p>\n

    A common organization should be formed to ensure \u201cPublic Security and Internal Security<\/strong>\u201d;<\/span><\/p>\n

    \u201cDefense Industry Manufacturing Alliance<\/strong>\u201d should be formed to ensure external security, and a \u201cDefense Alliance<\/strong>\u201d should be organized;<\/span><\/p>\n

    An organization should be set up to determine and implement \u201ccommon foreign policies<\/strong>\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

    \u201cEconomic collaboration<\/strong>\u201d should be ensured;<\/span><\/p>\n

    An independent \u201cjudicial system<\/strong>\u201d that consists of \u201cHuman Rights Courts<\/strong>\u201d and \u201cCriminal Courts<\/strong>\u201d should be formed for the Confederation of Islamic States and Regional Federations of Islamic States.<\/span><\/p>\n

    If we adopt this vision, we can actively prevent all the interventions directed at Muslim nations today.<\/span><\/p>\n

Adnan Tanr\u0131verdi?\u00a0 He was born in the village of Do\u011frug\u00f6z (Formerly E\u011frig\u00f6z) in the Ak\u015fehir district of Konya on November 8, 1944, as the only son of Ali Osman Tanr\u0131verdi, who was educated in the U\u015fak Madrasa, served as a religious officer, participated in the War of Independence and was awarded the War of Independence Medal. He finished primary, secondary and high school in Ak\u015fehir. After his secondary education, he worked as a primary school substitute teacher for one year in the 1962-1963 academic year. He studied at Istanbul University, Faculty of Science, Department of Zoology for a year in the 1963-1964 academic year.\u00a0Throughout his education life, he worked in production and trade activities by working as a journeyman in a bakery as well as planting, harvest, marketing works of his own farms starting from secondary school age. During his university education, he first worked at a Customs Broker, and then in 1963-1964, he served as Deputy Inspector at the Haydarpa\u015fa 16th Facilities Service Inspectorate of the State Railways Administration. He started studying the Military Academy in 1964. On August 30, 1966; he graduated from the Military Academy with an excellent degree as an Artillery Officer. Respectively he served in; 23rd Infantry Brigade, 8th Artillery Battalion (Istanbul), 10th Infantry Division Artillery Regiment (Tatvan), Battery Commands in 58th Artillery Private Training Brigade (Burdur) Headquarters Company and 1st Artillery Battalion On August 30, 1970, he was promoted to First Lieutenant, on August 30, 1973 he was promoted to the rank of Captain. He served as the Reserve Officer Company Commandant in the Artillery and Missile School Trainings Regiment Reserve Officer Battalion (Polatl\u0131) He studied at the Military Academy between 1976\u2013 1978 and gained the status of Staff Officer in 1978. He graduated from the Armed Forces Academy in 1980. As Staff Officer, he served as; Intelligence Branch Directorate and Deputy Chief of Staff at the 2nd Infantry Division Command (Adapazar\u0131) between 1978 and 1980; Academic Member at the Turkish Military Academy between 1980 and 1984; Deputy Chief of Staff at General Staff Special Warfare Department Logistics and Operations Branch Directorates between 1984 and 1986. He was promoted to Major on August 30, 1980, to Lieutenant Colonel on August 30, 1984 and to Colonel on August 30, 1987 with outstanding service. He attended Special Development Courses, Basic French Course and Unconventional Warfare Course before the academy. He served in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Civil Defense Organization Presidency between 1986 and 1988, As a Judge, Officer Membership in the 1st and 2nd Chambers of the Supreme Military Administrative Court and Deputy Head of the 1st Division between 1988 and 1990. He was appointed to the 8th Corps Artillery Regiment Command (Malazgirt) in 1990. He was promoted to Brigadier General on 30 August 1992 and as a General after serving as; 2nd Armored Brigade Commandant (Kartal) for three years between 1992 and 1995, Head of the Land Forces Health Department between 1995 and 1996, He was retired on August 30, 1996 due to lack of staff. After his retirement; He worked as the General Coordinator of \u00dcsk\u00fcdar FM Radio voluntarily for a year between 1997-1998. He took part in the Board of Directors of \u0130hl\u00e2s Marmara Evleri Mosque Construction and Aid Association on May 30, 2004. He served as the General President of the Association of Justice Defenders (ASDER) between November 28, 2004 - November 22, 2009. He served as a Member of the Board of Trustees of \u00dcsk\u00fcdar University between March 03, 2011 and November 01, 2021. The new ASDER Administrative staff deemed it appropriate that giving him the title of ASDER Honorary President. As ASDER Honorary President, he established, SADAT International Defense Consultancy Construction Industry and Trade Incorporated Company, on February 28, 2012, to provide consultancy to the organization and strategic use of the Armed Forces of Muslim Countries, to provide training on special subjects from the end user to the trainer level and to serve in the supply, procurement, maintenance and repair of weapons and vehicles, ASSAM \u2013 Association of Justice Defenders Strategic Studies Center, on May 24, 2013, for services to examine the technical principles of the unification of Islamic Countries and to form the appropriate conditions for laying the foundation of Islamic Union, YUSDER \u2013 Association of Yunus International Outdoor Sports and Sea Sports Club on January 19, 2013, for ASDER members to carry out sports activities He was appointed as the Chief Advisor to the President on August 15, 2016 and as a Member of the Presidential Security and Foreign Policy Committee on October 08, 2018.
