With this purpose, ASSAM completed its 4th Congress.

First Congress was conducted in 2017. In this Congress; "Determination of the Legislation on Management Figures and Organs for the Islamic Union” has been evaluated.

After then in 2018; "Determination of Principles and Procedures of Economic Cooperation for the Islamic Union) has been discussed.

In 2019; ”Determination of Principles and Procedures of Defense Industry Cooperation for the Islamic Union”, in 2020; “Determination of Principles and Procedures of Common Defense System for the Islamic Union” declarations were published on the issues determined by evaluating these subjects.

If Allah permits, in December 2021; "Determination of Principles and Procedures of Joint Foreign Policy for the Islamic Union", in 2022; "Determination of Principles and Procedures of Joint Justice System for the Islamic Union", in 2023; It is aimed to finalize the congresses by making evaluations under the main titles of "Determination of Principles and Procedures of Common Assistance and Security for the Islamic Union". Thus, it will be ensured that the institutions required for the gathering of Islamic countries under a will and the legislation of these institutions will be revealed as a way of action.

Every person has a dream, and every foundation or association has an aim. As ASSAM, our dream and aim is to reveal a legislation that will allow the unity of Islamic countries, to prepare a concrete "Islamic Countries Confederation Constitution Model". When our congresses are completed, the legislation will be completed with all the details.

ASSAM, as an association, conducts its activities by doing investigations and research within the legal limits, organizing meetings and congresses. Unfortunately, these activities internally and externally are being misunderstood or distorted by vicious and malevolent minds, and they  want it to be dragged in different directions.  Blind eyes and distorted minds only wear themselves out, and there is nothing worth for us.

It seems very difficult for some people to establish a union like the EU among Islamic countries. It does not even matter. Because, as an association, we are not interested in establishing such a union. We are not doing such a study either. Such a union is an international outcome that will only emerge as a result of negotiations by the governors of the countries. How it starts, how it develops, how it progresses, when it happens, it is not our dream for now, nor we will be able to express any opinion on this matter. However, when there is such an intention in governments, I can express that we are determined to continue our legislative work with determination in order to have a ready-to-use legislation.

We have believed in Allah, its angels, its books, the Prophets and the afterlife. It is in our faith that the world will be shattered and a new world will be created, and our dusted body will be recreated and our soul will be restored and we will be hold accountable for what we did. For a person who believes in these, it cannot be harder to believe that the global powers will weaken and the scattered Islamic countries to the four winds can come together. 

We already insist that our duty is nothing more than expressing this aim and doing the necessary legislative work for it to happen. Our position as an association just requires this.

Are there no people other than us who have this purpose? Of course, there are. We invite all our believing brothers and sisters who wish to establish the Islamic Union to work for this purpose.

With permission of Allah, we will conduct our 5th Congress in December at the end of the year. Its declaration will be published soon. We wish that everyone who has a say in this regard should contribute to the formation of the model constitution of ASRICA Islamic Countries Confederation.   By putting bricks on top of each other and building it over the time, a magnificent work like the Süleymaniye Mosque emerges.

61 of the 193 states that are members of the UN organization are Muslim countries. It is equal to 31%.

1.894 billion of the world population of 7.8 billion is the population of Muslim countries. It is equal to 24.1%.

30.848 million square kilometers of the land of the world, which is the total 150 million square kilometers, are the lands of Islamic countries. It is equal to 20.6%.

55.5% of the world's oil reserves, 65% of its production, 64.1% of natural gas reserves and 40% of its production are in the territories of Muslim countries.

With its geopolitical position, common civilization values and historical background, ASRICA is among the candidates to be the superpower of future.

Instead of asking the global powers for help in solving their problems, Muslims and Muslim States should seek ways to find solutions by themselves. One of the solutions and I think the most important is to create an EU-like union.
