The 9th of ASSAM’s traditional ASRICA Model Islamic Union Congresses was held on November 8–9, 2025, at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University, within the scope of the “ASRICA Quest for Solutions to Crises 2024–2027 Congress Series,” under the sub-theme “Seeking Solutions to the Crises in the European and Turkistan Islamic Countries Region.” Hundreds of participants from 14 countries attended the event in person, while more than a thousand joined online.

In the final session of the congress, more than 30 papers were also presented.
ASSAM, which carries out studies aimed at developing solution proposals and practical models to be presented to decision-makers, organized the ninth edition of its international congress this year in the format of an academic summit. The event, which attracted great interest from the academic community and featured rich scientific presentations and thought-provoking intellectual discussions, made significant contributions to the goals of ASSAM, which operates with the theme of Islamic Union.
We are proud to have successfully held the 9th ASRICA Model Islamic Union Congress under the theme “Seeking Solutions to the Crises in the European and Turkistan Islamic Countries Region.” We will share the final results, along with the individual and policy papers, with you as soon as possible.
