Henri Barkey and the US Warship USS Nitze

The anchoring of the American Warship USS Nitze in Istanbul and later in the Izmit Bay of Kocaeli has some deep meanings. This incident needs to be analyzed together with an article by the anti-Turkish American Henri Barkey, published by the US Council on Foreign Relations, in which Washington sets out the options for “military intervention” in the upcoming Turkish elections Foreign AffairsHenri Barkey, who was mentioned in the July 15 coup attempt and the Gezi Park uprising, listed Turkey's policies that disturbed the West in the article, and also suggested candidates to the 6-table table.[1] In addition, he used arrogant expressions in his article stating that the President of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, should be threatened.

On Turkiye-Afghanistan Relations

Afghanistan is the heart of Asia in terms of geopolitical and geostrategic aspects. It is a country located between continents and regions. It means peace and tranquility around its peace, tranquility and prosperity, as well as in Central Asia (Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan), Pakistan and Iran. It is at a crossroads for entry and exit from Afghanistan, Central Asia, the Indian Ocean and the Middle East. It is an enormous virgin region with resources of copper, oil, lithium, uranium still waiting to be discovered.

In order for Afghanistan to be able to develop industrially, economically and socially without a fish caught in the hook of imperialism, it needs to leave the USA and take the people behind it and embrace all segments.

On Turkiye-the U.S.A. Relations

Turkiye-US relations began in 1947 during the National Chiefdom of İnönü. Please note that the title of the agreement with the USA is not the “Turkey-USA Agreement” but the “Military and Economic Aid Agreement to Turkey”. Even this title itself is extremely insulting for our nation. Just like unilateral agreements with colonial countries.

Why Do We Buy S-400s?

Military activities are expressed with the concept of defense today. Air defense systems provide deterrence against air attacks against a country, reduce, limit, delay and prevent the effects of attacks. As the name suggests, it is for defense, not for attack. The system has no possibility to attack another country. Since it is designed to be used in the event of a counter-attack, any country that does not intend to attack need not worry as it will not be harmed. Therefore, they serve peace, not war. In this respect, it is not possible to understand the reactions regarding the S-400 Air Defense Systems to be purchased from Russia.

Moreover, a NATO member Greece, just like us, bought S-300 from Russia and placed it in Crete against another NATO member Turkey. Now they are trying to upgrade it to the S-400s. It is known that there are Russian air defense missiles in the Greek Cypriot Administration. Bulgaria and Slovakia have S-300 missile systems. Syria has S-200 and S-300 missiles. Russia has deployed S-400 in Latakia. Israel has the ‘Arrow anti-ballistic missile systems’ developed with the help of the USA. While there are so many air defense systems in our immediate surroundings, the reactions shown to Turkey's S-400 purchase to strengthen its air defense are very interesting.

We defeated USA five times

“Turkey has defeated USA for five times since 2015,” said Retired Brigadier General Adnan Tanrıverdi, the Presidency Chief Adviser. Speaking to Yeni Şafak, Tanrıverdi listed them one by one: 1- The US supported propaganda aimed at stability in the June 7 elections. With the foresight of the people, political stability was achieved after 5 months. 2- Then the pit actions started. U.S. support has caused Turkey new trouble with the PKK's self-government nonsense. Turkey solved this problem in 6 months. 3- While Turkey purged the FETO in Turkish Armed Forces, there was an attempted coup on July 15. Also, this attempt was suppressed within 20 hours. This was the 3rd defeat to USA. 4- The USA would hand over Jarabulus to the terrorist organization PKK-PYD. Turkey noticed this and brought its troops into the area and prevented it. 5- The United States moved to remove Turkey's bases in Iraq, but Turkey successfully prevented this. And this is the 5th defeat.
