Strategic Studies Boards
Establishment and Duties
- It consists of persons appointed by the General Board of Directors to conduct strategic reviews and research in accordance with the objectives of Assam and in the issues and geographical areas specified in its activities.
- The General Board of Directors decides on which topics and areas, as well as in what names and in what amount of Strategic Research Council will be formed.
- The General Board of Directors determines the selection of the Presidents of Strategic Research boards, how the appropriate organization will be for each of them, as well as the principles of the work of the boards.
- Individuals elected to Strategic Research boards are not required to be members of ASSAM. Matters related to the employment of members are determined by the General Board of Directors and the fees to be given are determined by the General Assembly.
- Strategic Research boards are the main boards of the association that will conduct scientific and strategic assessments at the social, cultural, economic, military and political level on the geography and countries specified in the articles of aims and activities of ASSAM.
- Articles and studies to be published in Assam publications and general press are consulted by the relevant working board.
- Seminars, conferences, panels, open sessions, symposiums and forums on subjects suitable for ASSAM goals are determined by Strategic Research boards in their annual Assam activity plans and put into practice on time.

Looking at the attempt by both remaining members of the UN Security Council (Russia and China) to effectively join the region, it is understood that the Geography of the Middle East is on the verge of a new and great sharing.
The Islamic World is going through one of the biggest wars of religion in its history, supported by global powers.
There are volunteers of this war, there are those who are used and there are victims.
Global powers organize and equip the Shia and Wahhabi extremists and some ethnic minorities and have them attack the followers of Sunnah.
There is no doubt that salvation will come from the unity of the Ummah.

HOW WILL PEACE BE ESTABLISHED IN THE ISLAMIC WORLD?
49 Turkish citizens working in the Mosul Consulate, who were taken hostage by ISIS militants on June 10, 2014, were rescued with a successful operation.
Our citizens held as hostage for 101 days were taken to Sanliurfa at 05:00 on September 20, 2014, from the border area under ISIS control of the Turkish-Syrian border (about 130 Km between Carchemish and Ceylanpinar).
I would like to highlight this operation, which is carried out without harming our citizens, is an important political achievement that reveals the power of our State and the abilities of our governors.
In the official statements, it was stated that "Turkish citizens returned home with an operation carried out by our National Intelligence Organization with their own methods". There is no clear explanation about the rescue operation. Behind the scenes of the rescue operation seems to remain a matter of curiosity. But the important thing is that our 49 citizens, who also have diplomatic identities, have returned home safely.

There is no definite and clear information about the life of Koçi Bey. It is known that Koçi Bey was originally Albanian and was brought to Istanbul from Korçë by means of a devshirmeh and entered the Ottoman Palace. It is not known for certain that Koçi Bey was from Korçë, but the fact that the graves of his wife and son Sefer Shah are in the Iljaz bej Mirahori mosque in Korçë, and that his grave is in the village of Plamet of Korçë, strengthens the thought that Koçi Bey was from Korçë. In various sources, it is stated that the real name of Koçi is Mustafa and that the name Koçi is his nickname. The name Koçi is in the forms of Koçi, Koca, Kuçi in different sources. The word “Koç” in Albanian means red. It is highly probable that Mustafa Bey was given the nickname Koçi because of his red-colored face. There is no definite record of the date of the devshirmeh and the date of entry to the palace. However, it is known that he served in various services in Enderun from the reign of Sultan Ahmet I to the reign of Murat IV. Especially during the reign of Murat IV, he was taken to the Privy Chamber (Has Oda) and gained the trust of the Sultan and became his confidant. Koçi Bey participated in the Baghdad expedition as the accountant of Sultan Murat IV. After the death of Sultan Murat, he became the accountant and confidant of Sultan İbrahim, who succeeded him. Koçi Bey retired in the last days of Sultan İbrahim or in the first years of Mehmet the Fourth and settled in Korçë.
EMPATHY
Our country is trying to move forward on a very exciting and very turbulent path these days.. It seems that the turbulence and whirlpool of emotions in our neighbors (events that we cannot make clear yet?!), where we live close-far emotional integrity, become a little more tense and pave the way for a somewhat more troublesome thought action. The fireball around us is getting bigger with each passing day and is getting closer to our country.. It is clear that more than ever, we need an urgent unification and closeness with great importance.
