“Kashmir is a political issue and needs to be resolved through tripartite negotiations between India, Pakistan, and the leadership of All Parties Hurriyat Conference. The denial of right of self-determination that was promised to the people of Jammu & Kashmir by the United Nations Security Council can bring both India and Pakistan to the brink of nuclear catastrophe,” Mr. Ghulam Muhammad Safi said at a seminar organized by Istanbul-based NGO, Yeni Dunya Vakfi (The New World Foundation) on the subject of Kashmir.
